Fair Design India (FDI), a group company of Litmus is into organising and managing exhibitions, events and conferences. FDI focuses on creating trade shows that become a platform providing trade ties, business development, new opportunities, joint ventures, technology transfers etc. Holding a seminar/workshop / conference concurrent with the trade shows helps in attracting professionals to the event.

FDI also acts as Event Managers for Show Organisers and the functions include marketing and assisting organisers by providing total services including planning, infrastructural, marketing and logistical support. This includes liaison with venue authorities including admit cards, car parking labels, badges, etc apart from various permissions and approvals from various authorities such as Fire, Police, Entertaiment Tax, Electrial Authorities etc. setting safety standards, and planning and provding Public Liability Insurance and other meaures for conducting completely safe and planned events.FDI also takes up management of Inaugural and Valedictory functions (in co-ordination with organizers), organising press meets, arranging hospitality and other support to Exhibitors, on-site Management including appointing Hall Managers, coordination with exhibitors, vendors, transportation and other agencies, hiring of equipments, walky talkies, fire extinguishers, organizing give-aways / trophies, recruitment and supervision of specialist agencies and personnel etc.

FDI portfolio includes Texmac India and Panelexpo as regular exhibitions in addition to managing projects such as India Sugar Expo – Nairobi and Acrex – New Delhi.

Some of the events earlier managed by FDI for the Show Organisers include various editions of Photo Asia, India Chem, Light India International, FPES, Elecrama, Bottled Water etc.

Regular Exhibitions

  • TEXMAC INDIA

    Texmac India, the international Exhibition on Textile Machinery got off to a superb start in 2007 at New Delhi. This event is organized along with IMAG – Internationaler Messe und Ausstellungsdienst Gmbh (the international arm of Munich Trade Fairs International Group). This exhibition is supported by CITI (Confederation of Indian Textile Industry) which has 27 member Associations and supported by country participation from Germany (VDMA), Great Britain (BTMA), Italy (ACIMIT), Korea (KOTMA), Turkey, USA (ATMA), China, Japan and Indo German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC). The concurrent conference – ATEXCON (Asian Textile Conference) organised by CITI features leading experts in the international textile industry sector.

    The first edition, the exhibition attracted large participation and was much applauded by one and all. The exhibition had 190 participants from 14 countries covering a space of 5,600 SM. This exhibition attracted more than 6000 visitors and the Exhibitors were happy to have large number of high quality trade visitors. Many overseas companies could have a successful entry into the growing Indian market and for already existing ones, this was an opportunity to intensify their business with new partnerships.

  • PANELEXPO

    Panelexpo organized jointly with Federation of Indian Panel & Plywood Industry (FIPPI) is an exhibition on Panels and Wood industry. The first edition of this exhibition was held in 2003. This event which started as a small exhibition with 1000 SM participation in 2003 grew to 2200 SM in the next edition in 2005. This trend continued in 2007 and in the next edition in the year 2009 as well. The main object of the fair is to bring Wood, Bamboo, Plywood, Panel, Furniture and machinery manufacturers and manufacturers of spares and accessories on a common platform and help them to display the latest products that the industry has to offer to the architects, carpenters and manufacturers of furniture, modular kitchen, modular offices, housing construction and other consumers.

    A concurrent technical seminar organised by the Federation addresses various subjects pertaining to the industry.

    This exhibition has the support of the Government of India (Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Environment & Forests and Planning Commission) and Government Agencies like IPRITI, BIS, CAPEXIL, NMBA and ICFRE etc. Leading industry associations in India such as AIVMA, SIPMA, NIPMA and GPVMA and overseas organizations such as ITTO, CBTC, INBAR, CNFMA, TWMA, IGCC and AMCHAM etc. also extend their support to make this event a great success.

Event Management - India Sugar Expo 2010

Understanding the potential for bilateral cooperation between Indian and African Sugar Industry, the Sugar Technologists’ Association of India have announced “Sugar Expo” to be held at Nairobi, Kenya in the month of July with Fair Design India as the Event Managers. The event is being organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India. Indian Sugar Expo is an exhibition of Indian Technology Developers and Equipment Manufacturers for sugar, cogeneration and alcohol industry. The exhibition is for three days from 2 – 4 July, 2010 at Kenyatta International Exhibition Centre,

Nairobi. One day concurrent workshop is also being organised in collaboration with Kenya Sugar Board (KSB), Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KNCCI) and Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM). Large number of visitors from Kenya and other neighbouring countries are expected to visit the exhibition. FDI has been instrumental in coordinating and bringing together all elements to create the event.

Organisers - Panelexpo 2010

The next edition of Panelexpo, which is the Fifth in the series, has been announced from December 1 -4, 2010 at NSIC Grounds, New Delhi. This edition is expected to cover 10,000 SM exhibition space and expects a large number of visitors.

The Conference scheduled to be held concurrently with the exhibition will have eminent speakers from India and abroad and will address the significance of new technologies and the theme is “India – Destination for Wood Based Industries."

Organisers - Texmac India 2011

Following the success of the premiere edition, the next edition of Texmac India has been announced from March 16 – 19, 2011 at Mumbai. Texmac India 2011 is setting new standards and is providing more service and benefits to its participants. This event is an uptodate, compact and tailor made forum for the whole textile industry. This edition is expected to be of a size of 20,000 SM and is customised to attract visitors from across India as well as internationally.
